luke Xr3i_Alloys Nov 25th, 2008, 06:56 PM personally I would'nt even entertain it Tara&Paul Nov 25th, 2008, 07:03 PM Might be ok if you didn't actually want to drive the car?
I have Yoko' Prada Spec 2's and I've noticed a lack of grip in the last few days due to the cold, the Toyo R888's would be even worse! Not a good idea mate!

Don't you actually need to get into a car before you can drive it? :puzzled: supa-dupa-cooper Nov 25th, 2008, 07:13 PM Don't you actually need to get into a car before you can drive it? :puzzled:

This is the problem with all summer tyres, be it normal tyres or runflats. They don't grip as well when the temperature goes below 7 degrees. Johnno Nov 25th, 2008, 09:25 PM i really wouldnt run r888's in this welsh weather! MarkW Nov 25th, 2008, 09:38 PM I wouldn't run r888's in the wet let alone winter Haggi Nov 25th, 2008, 10:04 PM winter has naff all to do with it, they are fine as long as its dry when its wet be it summer or winter there equally as useless, speak to the lotus guys who run them and the yoko versions all year, the soft compound helps in the winter when its dry
but they are not ment for everyday road use on a mini all year round, they are an R compound track tyre and should be though of as such, part of the issue of running them in winter is the fact the stock suspension on the mini cannot make use of them Tara&Paul Nov 25th, 2008, 10:10 PM Would you shut up :p It was bad enough last night, how many times in one night can you take the micky out of my not being able to get in/out of the car :o :p
