Hi
Looking for a front facing baby seat 9mths onwards. Heard that not many seats fit well in the mini.
I have a 04 plate with ISOFIX. I am reliably informed that the Britax Evolva 2-3 Isofit (Semi-Universal) car seat - Black ultra fits.
Does anyone have any other makes in their car or have the above fitted??

i have a maxi cosi priori sps (non ISOFIX) which fits but you need to put your knee in it to get it snug........read the what carseat fits thread at the top of the parents and childrens forum.......theres loads of carseats that fit you just have look around.

I've the Recaro Young Sport in the back of my R53 MCS :)
Amazing bit of kit which is cheaper than most, looks better than most & I'm sure is better than most. Will last for years & years (Until 12yrs) so value for money is very good :)
See here for info:
RECARO Young Sport. (http://www.recaro-seats.co.uk/child-seats/young-sport.php)
I prefer the Bellini which is what I have in the Asphalt/Grey but they do a great range of colours to match any interior :)

We have an Evolva 1-2-3 which I think is what you will need for a nine month old. The seat is great and fit the Mini like it was designed to go in it! The seat also lasts until they are 11 and Britax are supposed to one of the safest seats you can buy.

Thought that I would post up a a picture of the car seats in use in the back of my 2003 Cooper S
The seat on the left is the one I mentioned above - the Britax Evolva 1-2-3. The seat on the right is a Britax Renaissance. My daughter is in the Evolva and she is 3 in March and my son is in the Renaissance and is 15 months old. Clearly both are very comfortable!
Who says a Mini is not a family car!!:D

Hi, I am looking for a front facing child car seat for 18 months onwards and have a 57 plate Cooper S.
Do you know if the Britax Evolva 123 will fit or can anyone offer any advice on which type and make to purchase please.
Thanks
Debbie

The best advice I can give is that you can go to Halfords, Mothercare etc and get them to assess the fit for you. I think that the Britax Evolva will fit but you need to get it checked before you part with the cash - your car will be different to mine. I think it's a great seat.
