: Finally, it's here!! Darth Mini Dec 3rd, 2008, 08:50 PM Finally picked up my new PW/B Clubman S this morning. Chuffed to bits with it so far and very happy with the options (much longer list than I originally planned!).:D
Photos below - poor quality phone piccies I'm afraid. Thinking about some white roof stripes, JCW aero kit (when it arrives) and R105s at some point in the future but just enjoying it for the moment. Drove to work and back and it's now covered in muck so I'll have to give it a good clean before attempting some "proper" photos at the weeeknd! mister.t Dec 3rd, 2008, 08:52 PM wow very nice :D
Especially loving the Monochrome UJ decal :D:D Posts001 Dec 3rd, 2008, 08:53 PM Sweeeeeeeeeeeet:D:D NickyJ Dec 3rd, 2008, 09:25 PM Congratulations, the vipers really suit it :D

Thanks - have to say that I was in two minds about the vipers - original plan was standard bonnet stripes and vipers on the back doors only, but the more I saw of them, the more I liked them.
The Mini in the background is our first one bought mainly for my other half last year. She's sick of me "borrowing" it all the time so I've now got my own!! thetope Dec 4th, 2008, 10:54 AM looks bur-illliant. everytime i see a nice clubman i think "hmm, i wish i'd had the extra money to get one when i was buying..." humph Dec 4th, 2008, 10:57 AM Looks great.
Took delivery of mine yesterday too. Enjoying playing with the Sat Nav & Entertainment system:D
Only problem with taking delivery this time of year is the cars filthy by the time you get it home to show it off:) mini5lover Dec 4th, 2008, 11:36 AM Very nice, loving the colour combo and decals x Enjoy x Strippekniv Dec 4th, 2008, 03:02 PM Looks great! Where does one get the Union Jack decals? Can they be retro-fitted? Darth Mini Dec 4th, 2008, 03:40 PM Looks great! Where does one get the Union Jack decals? Can they be retro-fitted?
The likes of Mini Pirate (who I must pay a visit to one day!) have been doing A-panel decals for some time and have far more styles than the three designs that Mini themselves offer.
The ones on mine are "official" Mini ones - they are a very recent introduction by Mini as mine are the first that my dealer has fitted. Got a postcard illustrating them from Mini UK a few weeks ago and just phoned up my dealer and asked them to fit them before picking my car up. As they are simply a decal like bonnet stripes etc. yes, you can have them retro-fitted. Strippekniv Dec 4th, 2008, 04:46 PM Thanks! I think I prefer the official MINI decals which you have, as the Mini Pirate ones only seem to go up to the air intake, where as yours go all the way up to the belt line. adam_Randell Dec 4th, 2008, 05:07 PM lovely clubby! i want ur spots! :D Beastmaster Dec 4th, 2008, 05:48 PM Love your Clubbie and the A panels look sweet!:D supa-dupa-cooper Dec 4th, 2008, 05:57 PM Very cool

Enjoy! :D Shaun Dec 5th, 2008, 06:27 PM Looking great got me itching to get the pace spokes on mine but going to wait till this poop weather clears up first. Darth Mini Dec 5th, 2008, 07:22 PM Thanks Shuan.
Advantage of the Pace spokes is the easy maintenance! In this filthy weather, I'm guessing they're easier to clean than most styles of wheel - get them fitted mate - you know you wanna!!! ontheroadagain Dec 12th, 2008, 12:29 AM Another beauty joins the ranks - congratulations, albeit a bit late. :) clubmaniac Dec 12th, 2008, 08:02 AM Nice car, I bought a Clubman Cooper then change it to a cooper S too with full options etc at a discount. Managers ex demo. Darth Mini Dec 15th, 2008, 05:33 PM Knew it was too good to be true - my Clubbie has been back in already due to a faulty alarm sensor that meant it kept going off for no good reason - less than a week old too!!!!
Thankfully, was away in Edinburgh last week so was in getting sorted and back on my drive (and not making any noise) now!:D. Dealer (Sytner Sheffield) has been brilliant in getting it sorted oout immediately.
Very glad to have it back but proving extremely difficult to keep clean in this winter weather though! izzbust Dec 15th, 2008, 06:20 PM Terrific looking car....bet you cant stop driving it?
Enjoy:) Darth Mini Dec 17th, 2008, 02:56 PM Terrific looking car....bet you cant stop driving it?
Enjoy:)
Indeed - despite my hefty daily commute (which is now much better because I'm in a Mini every day and not just pinching the wife's hatch once a week ;)), I'm finding all sorts of excuses to jump in the clubbie and drive it around - not very green I know, but just enjoying that feeling you get when you have just got a new car and want to spend as much time as possible in it. Still not too many clubmans around where I live, so getting plenty of stares at present. Only problem at the moment is that with it being new and white, I'm practically cleaning it daily!!!
Good luck with your new purchase!:biggrin9gp: | |
