Called in and left info with them about a new car.....
Good: got a polite call/message asking if i was interested.
Bad: I left the info with them in Autumn 2007 regarding the to be announced Clubman model which i have subsequently bought from elsewhere.
Bad I got the call last week! 1 year after I purchased my Clubman.
Its just shoddy I wonder how many of the liggers and bumsniffers they invited to there open evenings and vip launches actually bought a car on the official launch day?

I have used David Holmes for servicing and parts since I bought my MINI elsewhere a year ago, I have always found them to be freindly, helpful and I've always been really happy with the work they have done on my car, I wouldn't take it anywhere else.

Just because you were overlooked during a new release does not mean that they are shoddy. It is possible that your information was lost and then found or simple human error but that hardly is worthy of bashing them on-line.

I reckon they might a bit keener to follow up old contacts given the current situation :)

Its more of a general comment on the state of affairs at new car launches it winds me up when people gloat about getting "VIP" invites despite not actually buying a new Mini since 2002 if at all.
Still think phoning me 12 months late is Shoddy though.

As I work in Stockport I had my electric window on my GP repaired at David Holmes a few weeks ago I asked for a courtesy car but they did not have one available but offered me a taxi to where I work very good and friendly service would recomend pepole go there than the dreded Williams in Manchester
