:D Knights Mini Staffordshire.
Reading various posts about good and bad dealers, it is reassuring to deal with a dealer that is willing to go that extra mile to help the customer. All I can give is praise for excellent service, even if the car is troublesome.
So all you mini owners; try this dealer if yours is less than helpful.

It is nice to see someone being positive about a dealer.
However I do find it strange that the only 2 posts that you have put up on this forum since you joined in April is to praise Knights. Your first post says that you will come back wikth more info and that was nearly 6 months ago!!!
It does lead me to ask - do you work for them?? or have some other connection??

No I do not work for them or have any connection other than I own a Mini. On all occasions I have had to to use them they have always tried hard to please unlike some others I have had dealings with!
As to posting rarely, my Mini broke down recently and Knights were absoluteley superb with assistance in sorting the problem, and felt "feathers in caps" were required.

I'll second that, Knights are very helpful.
I am on my third MINI and haven't had any problems with them in the past 4 years.:)

I can confirm that Kights North Staffs (but based in Stoke) were great to deal with when I bought a 6 month old coooper last year. They seemed to go out of their way to keep me as a service customer and will pick my car up from some distance away.

Sorry I have to differ here. I bought a brand new Mini One at the end of Jan and while pre purchase service was great, it seems that as soon as they had my money they didn't want to know. My car developed a problem with the windows not rolling back when the doors were closed or dropping to far when opened after less than two weeks. It took a whole day of calling to even speak to anyone in service (they took my number half a dozen times and NEVER called back) when I did finally get through they were completely indifferent and said it would be mid March before they could look at it even though I expressed concern that this problem could affect validity of my insurance as car was not secure. They couldn't offer me a courtesy car or collection of my car for weeks. It was only when I got the salesman we actually bought the car from involved that we got anywhere at all and I still ended up dumping my car there and telling them to call me when it was fixed. On the day it was done they didn't call me or return any of mine even when the job was finished and I have not received as much as one word of apology for either the problem with the car or the appalling customer service. I'm left wandering if I did the right thing buying from them :frown:

Was this Knights North or South? And who was the sales person?
