:p Andrew-proof? Is there such a thing? :D

Actually, Yorkshire Hotel looks really nice. OK, I've just provisionally booked a double room there for 2 nights: Friday 10th July (£59.00) and Saturday 11th July (£89.00). Checkout Sunday 12th July. Breakfast for two over two days is £40. So £188.00 in total.

Anyone else care to join me (and hopefully Nicky)? :D For the same hotel that is... you still have to get your own room. ;) :p

PS:
Can someone let me know ASAP if it turns out the dates I've guessed are wrong? :D
Andrew, I get that hotel to £176

Still can't figure it out. :o How'd you get it as a Breaksaway Bed and Breakfast rate?

I got the room for £148 and then had to specify breakfast for each guest for each day at £40 (total) bringing the total to £188.

Any tips?

If I remember rightly it was a link to Breaksaway (might have been half way down the page once you've entered your details) and I just clicked on standard double with breakfast ;)

Hey Andew, you have the correct dates ;)

C & I are booked into the Cedar Wotsits (Fri-Mon), although the Yorkshire Hotel looks to be within stumbling distance should you care to join us in the bar with the worn carpet :nice::p
Think a few others may stay there too...

Spoke to CW earlier who said they still have a good number of vacancies that weekend, unlike the rest of Harrogate it would seem :hmph:
However, I booked via Expedia as this was cheaper than booking directly with CW :)

Ah, I'm with it. I'll call them directly and ask them to modify the booking.

Otherwise, I'll cancel and book again. ;)

Hey Jules, I'm looking on Expedia too, but am a bit confused about the booking - do you actually pay now or just leave card details for the reservation?

Cheers, Andy:)

Both nights :D

Carpet smuggling  how big is it

nylo
Jan 16th, 2009, 05:07 PM
Oh it won't be that big when we cut it into R56 arch sized strips, but the problem is, the location of the carpet means that the reception desk has to be negotiated to get it out the front door, so if you do a wee dance at reception, that should distract them :nice:
