It sure did
While we were on holidays someone booked us in on the MINI factory tour, arranged to meet a fellow MINI2er to collect an intercooler, happened upon a Mini show at the Haynes motor museam and stopped for lunch in the same village Lohen was based in and amazingly they had someone of the same name booked in for some tinkering who hadn't turned up so it would have been rude to refuse
All these coincidences are spooky :p
The TG run may be one coincidence to many though  Deano Feb 4th, 2009, 10:48 PM Andy, didn't something like that happen to you last year as well??? Must be really annoying........ :D

1800 is worth about £72 off your Ferry fare.
We have 3800 points (£152) to get just from this latest 3 months! nylo Feb 5th, 2009, 08:39 AM Due to a glitch on their part, I've got well over 4000 on mine from this 3 months, so I'm looking forward to cashing those in :p NeuroBeaker Feb 9th, 2009, 09:09 AM I cut up my Tesco card in disgust after I fell out with a particular Tesco branch over some cheese-related disputes. :hmph: So never spent the points that were on it. :p
I wonder what bonuses other than money off shopping I can get from a Nectar Card. ShaunSheep Feb 9th, 2009, 11:00 AM I cut up my Tesco card in disgust after I fell out with a particular Tesco branch over some cheese-related disputes. :hmph: So never spent the points that were on it. :p

Nectar used to do deals for Best Western hotels, such as your personal favourite, the Cedar Wotsits ;):p
Not any longer though :( In fact I struggle to spend my Nectar points on anything useful  NeuroBeaker Feb 9th, 2009, 11:19 AM Nectar used to do deals for Best Western hotels, such as your personal favourite, the Cedar Wotsits ;):p

lol Actually, I normally like Best Western Hotels... I just didn't get on with that particular one. :o Anyway - this time around, we'll see how the Yorkshire Hotel stacks up by comparison. :)
Nicky and I occasionally use Nectar Points for money off the weekly shop for when times get tight (a rainy day sort of strategy)... otherwise they just sorta build up. | |
