I brought a 05 Mini Cooper and before I picked it up it had the TLC Inspection 1 service done. I took delivery of my mini on the 29th dec and the service was done on the 27th dec. They neglected to tell me that there was a leaking coolant housing and faulty thernostat plus a leaking engine mount which is now knocking how nice of them to tell me but NO they lost the paperwork and gave me just a service oil change checklist hmmmm no I have to take it in tomorrow for a free inspection again hopefully I get compensation!

Not sure about compensation, but they should certainly make it all right. :(

If its fixed I will be a very happy person I cleaned the car yesterday and waxed it really looks good.

Well yesterday took my mini into mini luton and there did another check and found faults so they phoned the dealer I brought it from and they paid for the repairs. I must admit mini luton were very nice people, So all in fine now.

Thanks and yes they are very polite and give me lots of coffee lol. We have a cooper conv 05 plate in cool blue and blue roof with big shiny multi spoke alloys. Based just outside bedford.

Im in Luton, but have been known to end up much further afield on a random drive :p

My JCW has been in since last wednesday after having a number of electrical issues since 5 days old (its still only 3 weeks old!!) and now it has a broken stereo with the parts on back order...hope to have it back sometime soon and all working, im missing the oomph!!
