Has anyone fitted a standard R56 Cooper S front bumper to their R56 Cooper and is it an easy fit?

it will be a straight swap, the only bit that may be different is the foglights, however seeing as a JCW bumper fits a cooper, one and cooper s should have no problem fitting the cooper s on the cooper.

I know Adam Randel did it before his JCW kit and he fitted it himself so he would be the one to speak to. You can see some pics of his car in the photo, photoshop ect section which is called "evolution"

Apparently (according to this site) i was the first to attempt the 'mod' on an R56 :)

Yea easy to do mate. All you have to do is take the front grill off, take front arches off (make sure you have about 14 spare clips for these). You dont have to take the arches off, but ive changed my front bumper 4/5 times and its just easier if you do. then theres some screws in the wheel arches, 2 screws where the grill was and a screw either side where the wheel arces were. then pull bumper, and make sure you have un plugged the side/fog lights and take off o2 sensor. reverse to put 's' bumper/grill on.

forgs/sides are exactly the same - it is a straight swap. you have to have either a JCW 'S' grill or a standard S grill with 'S' lower trim but cooper upper trim though

The reason i ask is that i had the aero kit fitted on my S and asked the dealer for the bumpers and stuff back that they took off.

I am selling the bits on ebay and someone asked me if they fitted so i directed them to this thread.
