I have noticed that the Hot Chocolate exterior colour is not an option during configuration on the MINI site. When the car first appeared on the site, Hot Chocolate was and actually still is included in the individualization choices. My guess is that it will be available later this year probably, but the dealers over here don't know alot. Does anybody know when this colour will enter production?

I was talking with my dealer yesterday. We discussed the colors as I was kidding with him about getting my R57 with the brown interior trim (yuck!). After laughing about it, he let me know that hot chocolate was not available for the Cooper S Convertible, especially a red one :o.

At least in the USA, you can order it for the Cooper Convertible.
I have verfied this in the R57 2009 brochure where the exterior paint colors are displayed. There is a superscript 1 next to the Hot Chocolate color and the legend says that this is only for the MINI Cooper Convertible.

So if you are looking for a Cooper S, be very sure you can order that color. I don't think it will be possible. The same goes for NightFire Red.

Pepper White
Chili Red
Interchange Yellow
Midnight Black
British Racing Green
Horizon Blue
Pure Silver
Sparkling Silver (looks like champagne color to me)
