I have just had the tracking done after getting some new tyres during an MOT. Turns out if was quite "out" apparently.
Anyway, i have recently bought some eibach lowering springs and was planning on getting them fitted this month, but would this effect the tracking i have just had done? Would it need doing again?
Thanks.
Tom.

Yeah if your changing springs you should really get alignment done again, if your taking apart suspension I would always get alignment done afterwards.
That reminds me I need to get my aligment done, lowered my car about a month ago:p

I got my alignment done after changing my suspension and it is recommended as Countdown says.
You will probably find that with the springs you will get a bit more negative camber and depending upon the age of the car this cant be adjusted without camber plates... Mine wasnt adjustable (MArch 2004) and consequently I had more wear on the inside edge of the rear wheels... this was part of the reason I wanted to get rid of my springs as I was changing 2 tyres every 6months... I would rather spend money on mods than tyres...

my alignment was miles out after the eibachs. had the tracking done with plenty of toe in on the front and the turn in is a lot sharper and the car drives more effortlessly.
looking at the previous alignment settings, it seems each wheel was pointing in a different direction.
