Hmm that's not good. I sure hope the economy starts turning around again soon.

Yes

There are discounts available in terms of free stuff and free upgrades, but not sure if they're actually dropping the price of the car itself. But I think they would if pressed.

Or "Yes", as above. :o :p

There is a MINI discount on offer at present in dealers, which dealers are using as a part payment towards the deposit, if I remember correctly is varies between models from something like £600 -£900 or there abouts

I read dealers are short of used cars so you'd probably get a decent trade in as well.

Correct, cherished MINI's are selling well, infact prices went up in Jan and Feb on used prices.

Just a shame they're not making the R53 anymore otherwise I'd buy one now

I was told I'd be offered top money as a px today for my 55 plate MCS with 29k on the clock. I was offered £8250 by a dealer a month ago. The dealer I spoke with today said they'd up that to high 8's - which I'm guessing is something like £8750. As suggested - they can't get second hand stock. Trouble is the price to change for me is still too big. Bring down your prices MINI!!
