Any one got any advice on just fitting springs, will it put added straign on standard suspension parts, any makes to stay clear of (see them from about 80 quid on ebay Any Good?) who can fit them local mechanic or does it have to be a suspension specialist, or does any of the members do it in spare time for a bit of cash ?

Hi, i have eibach springs on my one with cooper s dampers (although i dont think the dampers were needed) i bought them second hand for £70 but think they are about 130 new, they are great, eibach have a good reputation in motorsport etc. I fitted them myself but it turned out to be a bigger job than i expected, i suspect a garage would charge 2-3 hours labour max but other people will know more about that, any garage will be able to do it, its not a hard job for a mechanic
