Hi all, I'm getting the car below next Thursday, basically if any of you own a dark grey Cooper S and have any inspiring pics that might wet my appetite I'd love to see them!



It's so much easier deciding on wheels etc when you can see examples on similar cars, so any help or opinions would be greatly received.

What size wheels are you thinking - 17 or 18s?

I'm not sure, I think 18's can look a wee bit OTT. Especially without a brake upgrade.. It's a little like a very large lady giving you a glimpse up her skirt... no one wants to see an ugly set of brakes if you know what i mean.

Having said that, the JCW wheels are all pretty amazing... i'm just gonna wait and see for now!

Me personally would put 17" R90s in anthracite on like this one. Think it looks amazing. Sorry not my MINI and don't know whos it is but I'm sure they won't mind me posting the pics I found on here anyway.

The other looks pretty cool too.

I love it how it is and would just change the wheels.

here's one with 16" alloys and 195/55 Nokian winter tyres fitted... as well as some decals from Mini Pirate. I'd be looking to get the roof done, but (i) I live about 3000km away from Phil's chill out zone in Upper Dalby (or so I've heard), (ii) I've got the sunroof which is a bit of a hindrance to a decent motif, and (iii) in any event I can't decide what to have. I'd also like the four spots on the front, but not quite there yet.
