Sounds very cool!!!

Good that they are chucking some more JCW goodies at it - wonder if it will get any more power of the Factory JCW....???

:D

Apparently not any more power, I guess for regulatory, insurance (to the customer) and cost reasons, but you never know.

Hmmm... it seems odd that such a limited edition car with such a racing-heritaged name wouldn't opt for more power. In my opinion, it should be the equivalent of the JCW GP for the R56... but it's likely only to be aesthetic differences?

What ^^ said - even if the power hike is only marginal like the GP's additional over the 210 JCW - who would settle for a JCW F1 with 220 out the box??? ME!

Even if they used the factory JCW as a base then when 'tinkered' with it could get to 220 easily surely.... unless they are concerned that the engine couldnt handle it? Doubt it mind, costs are more likely the reasoning behind it I would have thought.....

It doesn'd sound that special to me. BRG is never much of a popular colour either.

I have always said limited edition, not special edition! :D :p

The colours, trim and options all sound good to me, and 100 is a very limited number so should hold values well if it sells out fast enough.

I'd love one if I had the cash, but I'm a sucker for nostalgic tie ins, and I've never owned a flat green MINI/Mini!

Agreed Green is never a popular colour, will have to see it in the flesh..

And you can bet the price is going to be much more than a Factory JCW with a Chilli Pack too.. :aargh:

They should have increased power to at least 230bhp to give it some chance of coming near to some other far better cars in the 25k bracket..

Green must be the new colour or car makers are trying to make us think so...
Renault are at it too:
