I also have a 2006 cabrio and live on an island where we get some pretty torrential tropical storms. My MINI has only once had a leak and that was on the passenger side. Cured at the dealers as the door window seal needed replacing.

Thanks Marisa have had it to the dealer they said that they had fixed it.
It only rains a couple of months in Perth WA, so for now I will have to keep putting the hose on it to try and find the problem.

I find that when im washing the car with the hose water gets in a little bit though the top of both doors but when it rains it does'nt get in (and it really poors down in melb) i think this is due to the force of water from the hose getting though where the window and roof meet

Mine has leaked once since the short space of time that I have owned it... The passenger side, from the top of the window and all the way down the door.. but I put it down to the fact of how it was raining with the wind etc... it was bucketing down :o

Hi 85NIXMIN, it should not leak at all. The seal is obviously at fault there and it may get worse. If its still under warranty it will get done and also you may get a new carpet (as I did).
