hello all,
so i want to buy some gauges for my R56,
i had a look at Alta and they have some nice looking gauges.
also
i had a look at the ORIGINAL Mini gauges

FROM ALTA
i tought a water or oil temp gauge and a boost gauge.

AND FROM MINI
i have no idea besides the water temp. (the other 2 i have no idea which is the most important)

QUESTION?????????

1) what would you reccomand ALTA or MINI?
2) if MINI what gauges should i put on?
3) And why?

Personally, I'd go for boost and oil temp - I've heard the MINI temp gauge is way off the mark when it comes to the best temp for the oil to be at before flooring it.

Either gauges, or buy a ScanGauge, which does it all!

scangauge does'nt do as much on the R56 as the R53 and the temp gauge does'nt work properly, it over reads. mine showed that on a cruise my car was at 109c but when i floored it it dropped to 80c within 10 secs.

so should i put the MINI gauges aside for now and go for Alta Prosport gauges?
