Hi All,

Little advice on a direct replacement filter for the GP. GTT or ITG?

Any others you can suggest?

Thanks
Matt

ITG - well worth the money as it totally changed the mid-range on my car, now from 3500rpm all hell breaks loose in the engine :D

Got mine here: ITG ProFilter for John Cooper Works & JCW GP Airbox - Welcome to Vecchio Engineering - The BMW and New Mini Tuning Specialists (http://www.vecchio.co.uk/index.php?productID=127)

I've heard good things about the dave.f Hybrid Air Intakes (MT Sponsor) - Hybrid Air Intakes - Mini Torque (http://www.minitorque.com/forum/f605/)

They've been tested and proven to have a 0.5psi improvement over the JCW intake, at half the price.

I think the OP already has a JCW air box, its just options on a filter that they are looking for...

What filter is in the dave.f air box? That may be an option?

Ah yeah, suppose he will have a JCW airbox already.

The filter in the dave.f is a K&N one, shipped in from the US (not sold in the UK).

Very SImple, I put it on myself no special tool needed. I just uncliped box pulled top back and squeezed it in and connected it. I did NOT even take box completly apart. Figuered if if ITG is good enough for Formula racers its good enough for the GP.

My itg is now in and sounds great!

My JCW 210 is stock apart from the ITG filter (deflapped JCW air box) and a GP intercooler and today it made 221.6bhp... :D
