Hi,
This has probably been asked a million times before, but just wondering how much worse the JCW is on fuel compared to the standard MCS.
Whats the average mpg everyone is getting?
Dan

Hi mini Dan, the difference is about 5mpg between the cars, depends how heavy footed you are. Also take in the cost of running both as different cars, different insurance. more expense for parts.

Those are very good figures, I've owned a pre facelift Works car for almost 5 years now and average 23mpg around town and about 27 on a motorway run. Clog it and I can have it down to high teens

Depending on use you should be looking at around 30mpg as an average value. If your foot is heavy this can plummet!! When buying my JCW I budgeted for an average of 25mpg and over the course of the first 2 years of ownership the average was around the 34-35mpg... It all depends on how heavy your foot is...

In effect, what you get is how you drive it, hard and it sucks it !!! S/C more than the T/C.

think the jcw is better than normal s due to better breathing. only by an mpg or 2 though.

When I am in San Juan, racing through traffic, I get about 11.5 -12 mpg. On the highway to Rincon, I can average 28-30 mpg.

Which driving do you think is more fun?
