Hi - I know this question comes up a lot - but I can't seem to find the answer specifically for the maxicosi cabriofix car seat - does anyone know if this car seat (and the isofix base) fits into the back of the mini cooper (2008). My mini does have the isofix fittings in the back but not sure size wise. Can anyone help???!!

I also have the same model cooper and am wondering the same question. Don't want to have it shipped from the Netherlands only to find it doesn't fit! I saw this thread I think it answers the question. The 2007 mini is the same shape as the 2008 after they did the model update.

Don't know if this will help but I have an 06 Mini Cooper s Checkmate limited edition. I have my nieces on a wednesday and was worried that my car seat wouldn't fit in the back of the car. I have a Britax Duo Plus. I went to Halfords and got them to try the car seat in the car before i bought it, and it fits perfect.
The guy said at halfords aslong as the car has isofix points most car seats will fit using this.
I suggest if you are worried then go to your local halfords and ask them to try the seat out they have on display. You dont have to purchase the seat fron them. I said my brother was coming back to buy it from them during the week.
