hey folks,
Not very practical when i comes to cars (and spelling) but i was wondering if there is anything you can do to the Cooper D to put a bit of a spring in its step!
Does re-map kill the warrenty?
Is their anything else i can do?
Cheers folks!

What you need to ask yourself is 'Is the car too slow or do Iwant to drive it faster'
And they are not the same thing, you could have a remap, which would be overwritten if a dealer needs to modify the software on the car, or use a module that you could unplug prior to a dealer visit. But be very wary of cheap plug in units that could damage your engine in the long term.
If the actual speed of the car is OK and you just want to drive it faster, then look at suspension and tyres, maybe a sway bars etc.
Lowering the suspension or fitting different wheel/tyre combo's will not effect your warranty but messing with the engine will, the choice is yours.
Mph cost £££££, depends which you desire most and which you have got most of.

It's a pity your can't get a Bluefin for this model.
Don't some of the remap companies give engine warranty for anything the remap has contributed to (though proving might be a prob!)
