Hi,
Looking at a remap to make my cooper diesel a bit more satisfying performance wise.
I have only covered 2k miles so far, is it too soon to consider a remap?
Thanks, Ryan.

What kind of re-map do you have in mind? Just a generic plug and play or getting it done a RR with before and after dyno's so you can see what changed.
I'm not certain that there is much of a gain bhp wise to be had, but certainly smooth the torque curve out which will make it decent to drive.

I'm looking at the P-torque map, which I think is plug and play...I'm not actually sure.
This allegedly takes the car from 110bhp to around 130/135 and from 240nm of torques to 300nm.
Thanks, Ryan.

P-Torque do a good job on the R56 MCS so I would think they do an equally good job on yours.
Whether a car even needs a soft running in period or a drive it like you stole it run in happens to be a huge debate.
My opinion would be that its fine. You have warranty and the p-torque is as stealth as a re-map can be so if you have any troubles you should be able to get it sorted... but you should be fine.

Cheers for the advice!
Think I'll probably go for it...just need to make sure there's nothing more important I need to spend money on lol!
Thanks, Ryan
