Ordered my Cooper S in May, with a plan to get it Sept 1, however it has been delivered to the dealership this week, so after seeing it for the first time today, I've blown all that, and am picking it up next weekend ! Can't wait now, as it looked every bit as good as I hoped when I spec'd it. i'll post pics when I officially get it, but basically:

Sounds like a nice spec. I confirmed my order this week, but I'm going to be a good boy (I hope) and pick it up on Sept 1. I've never bought a brand new car before, so I really want to make the most of it and getting it on a 59 plate will add more value (I hope!).

Your spec is very similar to mine, it being in Chilli with the back bonnet, LSD etc, but I have black bonnet stripes & black wheels also... I considered the anthracite lining but thought it may make the car interior a bit dark.

Hope you enjoy it, I have a wedding in the New Forest, a trip to Cornwall, and another wedding in Belgium all lined up in the first few months of ownership, so it will get some use.

I'm sure it will look nice with the black wheels .... it's all personal preference, which is why they're all so unique, as I love the darker look inside. Anyhow, we also have some trips lined up, which was another reason for getting it early (this is also my first Mini by the way).
