How easy is it to change the lenses bulbs and scuttle vent thingys

Apparently its a 5 min job. If not less....just waiting on my chrome scuttles to arrive and then will be fixing mine on. Got white lenses already on when I bought the car.

i assume the lenses are simple to fit and they come off with the scuttles?
youll have to take before and after photos and let me know how it goes, i ordered mine yesterday :)

They just pop out, you'll need to get a small flathead screwdriver in the gap at the end furthest from the lens. Then just pry the vent out but be careful not to scratch your paint. When you have it popped out its all pretty straight-forward from there :)

dead easy just changed my cooper ones for S ones

They arrived :D, decided to go fro black lenses to be a bit different, just gotta order some now :D

My arrived last night buy wasnt round to pick them up so got to wait until Sat before I can pick them up at the depo. :'(

WOAH WOAH WOAH no no dont do that!!!!! just open your bonnet n you can pop the whole unit out by pressing the end closest to the front!!!! then you you just push n slide the lens forward, like you said its pretty self explanatory from there!!!

I thought that was 2nd Gen cars....not 1st Gen ?

As Weemann says open your bonnet - feel inside the wing and gently push the scuttle out. You can then disconnect the lead to the light and then to change the lenses over you just twist the lens - there is a link somewhere on this web site

2nd gen is different, as the "clip" you need to push is nearer the windscreen than the front of the car.

All fitted :D when for the smoked lenses in the end.... LOOKS FAB!

they were the best looking ones, saw a few that looked plasticy if you know what i mean the seller was something like chromitech or something message me and i can send you a link if you like!

im gonna go for black jewel lenses buh instead of getting chrome scuttles im just gonna spray my scuttles black (same as my car)
