I just had my Cooper D on service (30 000 km), where they changed the brake fluid, nothing else was done. And now the service indicator indicates a service is due in 1500 km, before november 2009. The icon shown is the general one with the car, and nothing specific. The manual is quite vague on the icon and what service to be performed.

Does anybody what service this can be?

take the car back to the dealer where they can reset the indicator.

Sounds like it's time for the first Oil Service.

take the car back to the dealer where they can reset the indicator.
Unless a scheduled Oil Service or Inspection Service is performed the interval counter should not be reset.

It had it's first oil change at 22 000. So it should not be that. I think I'll take it back to the garage and ask?

Sounds like the inspection 1 service then, what date was the 1st oil service carried out?
