Anyone know if Halfrauds do number plate printing? Got my new reg all sorted with the DVLA today and 48 hours to get them printed!
If not, can I just go to any local kwik-fit/ inde garage and get them done while I wait?

Your local dealer will do them too. I got mine for £18 for the pair and they drilled and fitted them as I had sticky ones but wanted them screwed on. They do with or without the blue gb strip too. I went with it and I love them!!
As others have said, you need to take all your documents with you too.

All documents, if you find someone who will change the format of letters that's down to you plus a £30 fixed penalty, third offence plates removed by DVLA.

I'd get them from the dealer - not any more expensive really and they look better - a bit sad but... :)

Cheers boys, nipped down to the local Equipe garage and got it all done for £20.
When I come to sell the car, how do I go about it? I'm assuming I just inform the DVLA, remove the plates and then the garage/ new owner just assigns their own?

When you sell the car you have to pay the DVLA about £100/120 to keep your personal plates, they will then issue a new number, usually the original (so keep old plates). There is no futher charge to transfer your plates to another car.
