Del Date: Est: Jan/Feb 2010

Coping mechnisms: Trawling Mini2 forum, followed by looking at /admiring all /drooling over/ envying/etc at everyones mini photos! while drumming fingers, tapping toes....and sleepless nights,:rolleyes: how will I be able to contain myself when my Mini finally arrives?! I got it bad!! :redface:

Expected: Late October/Early November
Coping: Well I am already driving a Mini Cooper S (04 plate) so that keeps me happy until I trade up to the newer model.

Ordered end of September, been told four weeks, so end of October?

Has arrived today, just waiting for PDI and registration, less than three weeks, from order to show room delivery!

Beginning of September I ordered. It was in Halifax on the 5th but it still isn't in my home town (I'm in Canada, vast country!). I'm coping by continuing to drive my 2005 Cooper cabrio but it is getting tougher by the day waiting for the topless turbo 2010!!!

I put a deposit down on one that was dealer ordered on Sept 26th and it was already on the way. At the time the dealer said it could be less than a week, yesterday I was told it was in province and to expect it for the weekend or early next week. So my wait wasn't nearly as long as some.

Ordered Camden Cooper D on 30th September, arrived at dealer today, 'S' fuel cap being fitted and collect tomorrow :)
16 days total!

Ours took 6 weeks but Cowley did have summer shut down in between. Ordered end of July, collected 10th Sept.

Saw our sales advisor in the pub last night and she is saying 10-12 weeks. It seems Cowley cant make then fast enough.

Ordered a "loaded" BRG Cooper S on 16 Oct.
Production started at 6:57am on 27 Oct.
Scheduled "birth" date: 4 Nov.
Then it gets shipped to the west coast of the USA (heck, I've never been through the Panama canal but my car will have been!!)
Projected delivery date: mid-December (a VERY Merry Christmas indeed!!)

Ordered 25th sept via a lease company - company car scheme and its being delivered.... oh wait.... TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was about to place an order in Australia for, again, a fully loaded BRG Cooper S this week. Was quoted a delivery date of end of February. A 4 month delay...?

I am now having second thoughts. In addition, the dealers have been less than enthusiastic to take the order for a A$60,000 car. Trying to get a price, and an accurate price, was like pulling teeth. 3 dealers did not respond at all to emails. I wonder how their service and repairs would be....:confused:

Gosh, thats accurate!

I ordered my mini the same day as you. Emailed the dealer last week and they were unable to tell me anything at this stage but reassured me as soon as they knew anything they would let me know.

As I have said prev, it could be Jan before I finally get it. I knew that before I ordered though and I am happy to wait. I could have had a mini straight away off their stock list but I wanted to really personalise mine, hence I am happy to wait. :)

Being told my JCW Clubman Laser Blue w/ Silver Roof & C - pillars will be in Southern California just before Christmas. Oh the wait......sold my Porsche C4S and cruising the company van for 7 more weeks.

And I now have VIN and engine number.

The wait is very frustrating, Anyhow not much longer :)

We ordered ours from Douglas Park Hamilton 2 weeks ago. We haven't got a definate date.

Douglas Park in the City Centre. On the estimated delivery its got 23/12/09. Also told my salesman that it should be here by then...im losing hope though.

Ordered the wifes Cooper on 7th Nov estimated delivery was 12th Dec. It went into production last week so I'm hoping to get the call from the dealer this week

Shes not coping very well with the wait!!

Ordered 21st of October - no date given yet, although, it apparently went into production last monday.

How long does it take for them to build it? I heard 20 hours from another thread?

What is the deal after production is completed, does the delivery speed up after its made? I sure hope so!

Don't see how I havn't been given a date yet, when others who ordered almost 2-3 weeks after me, have dates for early december :(

I'm frustratingly waiting for a call from the dealer!

Apparently its about 10 days from end of production to delivery to garage.
The dealer also told me that they can get Mini Ones/Firsts very quickly but the cooper etc is taking alot longer at present...

Order placed for a Dooper on the 16th November, not been given a date just told it would be the end of December or beginning of January.

Rang the dealer today who said the the car was in the bodyshop! and delivery was scheduled for week comencing 14th Dec but it may be earlier. The saturday before would be nice but at least its on the way

Pick ours up next Friday all going well. 4 weeks from order to delivery.

Ordered my Cooper S on 5th Dec & was told to allow 6-8 weeks.
