Hey ppl im Fraser(21yrs old), just purchased a 03 MCS last week and loving it so far. One question though is there anyway to connect an ipod to the orignal stereo(multichanger) except through tape deck or radio??? Well thats me introduced myself, any replys would be appreciated, cheers.

underneath the dash in front of the gear knob is there a 1 pin socket?

Hi, Scottish09.

I bought an Ipod convertor from eBay that plugs into the cigarette lighter. You just need to tune one of the radio buttons into the convertor.

Make sure you get one with the right connector, though - some of them won't fit because the cigarette lighter's in such a weird place. I had to get an extension cable as well, to make it fit.

Nah pk5 i dont think there is, do you meen like a headphone jack?? Is there an auxilliary connnection on the back of the stereo??

yer its nice, definetly a thirsty little motor though lol. Need to get a aero grill for it an i will be sorted. Ma insurance is jus under £500 a year for me an the missus, not bad i dont think considering our age?

there might be a aux port in the compartment infront of the gearstick... well this is in the gen2 not sure about the gen1

denison ice link will allow you a nice cradle and everything and let you control the track skip and fast forward etc functions via steering wheel controls or radio control depending on what you have. mikey sold me mine for my 03 mCS
