I'm about to place an order on a Cooper S. In past I would have gone for the hatch but I have a 3 year old and having seen Clubman Cooper S in the flesh I actually liked it more than i thought it would so am more inclined towards that than a hatch at moment. But I have a couple of worries:


How well do the Cooper S clubmans hold their value? Is there much of a market for them as compared to the hatch - I'm just a bit conerned that 'S' buyers may be more weighted towards the hatch??
I'm thinking of dark silver with silver pillars and viper stripes - is that a good colour for it - what interior looks good with it?
The other colour I'm thinking of is pepper white as I thought it looked brill in the showroom and quite retro. my worry is I live in a rural area and I'm a bit concerned it will look dirty easily and realistically I will only have time to clean it once a week - how true is this of the pepper whites in terms of showing the dirt?
Spec wise I'm thinking of chili pack, visibility pack, iPOD connector, chrome line interior and exterior, park distance control as extras. Any other spec items that are particualrly good but I have limited extra budget though

I've got a Pepper white/black roof Clubbie and I love it (latest pics a couple of threads before this one) Cant say it looks any dirtier after a weeks commuting from my previous dark grey car. Just make sure you use good quality cleaning products.

If you can afford it go for the dark rear glass and multi function steering wheel.

With a white exterior the Piano black interior trim is very classy combined with chrome line.
