Hi again all

I'm considering adding these, few questions:

1. Do they make a big difference to the driving experience as far as handling is concerned?

2. Do they make the ride harsher?

3. If you do it, is it necessary to do front and rear, or will the front one be enough of a marked improvement?

4. Do they add to shakes and rattles, or improve it? (;))

Anybody had experince of these? Cusco Front Strut Brace - Welcome to Vecchio Engineering - The BMW and New Mini Tuning Specialists (http://www.vecchio.co.uk/index.php?productID=283)

Much appreciate the feedback - many thanks

1) yes they do, they make the car more responsive. the steering becomes a little heavier, but when you move the steering wheel you don't half know it!
2) i wouldn't say they make the ride harsher, just more positive; the car feels better planted.
3) i did front (gtt), lower front (omp) and mid gtt). there are no rear ones that fit on the GP, or so i've been told. the general concensus of the rear ones are they don;t do anything anyways!
4) don't know if they do to be fair. i have read some people's shakes and rattles were cured with installing them, but whether it'll do anything to the ones that you listed in your other post is probably a big fat no as i have the exact same with the struat braces on!

Agree, have GTT top, bottom and middle plus wishbones and engine mounts Superflexed, car's like dodgem and not lower runs on Koni FSD's.
