Just joined and looking for a new Mini.
I was looking at the Mini First because of the cheap price but wondered if it was possible to chip it to 95BHP from the 75 it comes with standard?
It looks as though it has the same engine as the Mini One but not sure.

Any help is appreciated and I would have went for a used one or Cooper but they seem quite expensive for the money and the condition of any I've seen isn't great.

i'm guessing you would be able to have it chipped to be the same HP .. but the one comes with alot more extra's and would be worth looking into for resale value

The thing is I usually only buy top of the range but I was looking for a car with good fuel consumption and I wanted an 07 on but they are quite pricey and not always in the best condition so I thought I would see how much I could get a new one for.
I can get a brand new Mini First with TLC for £11,000 on the road and that's one of the new ones with the 1.6 engine that come out next Month.
Yes I know it's really basic but I could spec it up over time. There's always loads of bits for Minis on E-bay etc.

I spoke to Superchips and they said although they didn't have a remap for the car if I took the car in they could possibly develop one.
