Hi all,
I'm looking at fitting a new head-unit to my 2004 Mini One. Basically I've narrowed it down to a Sony CDX-GT45IP (http://www.sony.co.uk/product/ica-in-car-usb-and-made-for-ipod/cdx-gt45ip#pageType=TechnicalSpecs). I'm pretty sure this one is the updated version of the CDX-GT45IP. (http://www.sony.co.uk/product/ica-in-car-usb-and-made-for-ipod/cdx-gt44ip) I'm pretty new to head-units so I've got a few (probably dumb!) questions.
Am I right in thinking that 'Built-in iPodŽ cables makes it effortless to connect your iPodŽ .' means there's a cable that comes out of the back of the unit that can then be routed wherever I want?
(Assuming what I said above is right) I want to route the cable into the glovebox, so I can keep the iPod hidden out of sight. Has anyone done this?
Also, what adaptors am I going to need (as regards fascia, cables, etc) to fit it ?
Thanks in advance!
