i have just bought a mini 2 days ago, when i got home my temp gauge was high, but am happy with it apart from this problem, my rad seems ok but the water bubbles away when i switch off the engine, so i have booked it in to halliwell jones in warrington and am now gonna have the car checked over for thermostat problems and there gonna drain it and charge me 255.00 to see if this is the problem, does anyone know what the problem could be, i have wanted a mini for years and finally have one, please help or tell me what to do.....

my recent problem was i had the airconditioner on and it tripped a fuse which caused the secondary fan to stop working, which caused the engine to over heat and coolant to bubble. aud$989 later and i have a new secondary fan and no over heating problems....
