yesterday my mini was switched off for a few hours and my brake lights came on by themselves and stayed on. When i pressed key to unlock car, they went off and has been ok since. No i didnt leave my lights on.
has anybody had this?or knows what it might be?

Was it all 3 brake lights, or just the high level one, as there is a known problem if just the high level one comes on alone?

Hopefully just one of those computer glitches that only happens once in a blue moon.
Trouble is - you'll now be forever checking those lights every time you leave the car :rolleyes:

It happened to me a while ago where I was opening my garage door the car was off, lights were off and the brake lights were on...never did itagain ever since... Thought its weird, atleast I aint alone. I thought it came to life.
