"Celebrity TV chef James Martin will be making in an appearance with his famous Mini Cooper S, 8 EMO, at this year's National Mini Cooper Day at Beaulieu on 13 June.
James recently bought his ex-Works Mini Cooper S registered 8 EMO at auction. In his own words 'she runs brilliantly and is a tribute to Mr Gilbert', Dave Gilbert being the man who restored 8 EMO to its BMC Works specification.
First used in the 1963 RAC Rally with an early 1071cc Cooper S engine, 8 EMO now sports a 1275cc engine and is otherwise prepared to the specification it carried during the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally.
James and 8 EMO will be present amongst many other ex-works Minis at Beaulieu on Sunday 13 June. It's an event not to be missed!"
