To anyone with the crescent shaped marks in their rear windows,this is a known fault with pre 2006 cabriolets,my car has these and i complained to my dealer and he showed me the bmw bulletin for the fix.This is to replace the windows and fit modified c pillar seals,so don,t be fobbed off .

thank-you for your post, if it wasnt for that i wouldnt of realised the scrapes! Have mentioned it this morning, as its having some other work done. Where can I find this bulletin??

Sorry i,ve been so long at replying,the service manager said that bmw/mini had a dealer website which they could refer to.I think it,s called PUMA or something.

Ron I feel you should search for the options online. Even I have heard about these issues. I feel these can be sorted out directly by consulting any mechanic or from an online portal.
