I currently own a GP and as discussed on a thread earlier today I have the standard holed exhaust problem. I have booked the car in to mini for them to have a look at next week however, I am starting to think is there a better option out there for my money. The warranty excess is £250 anyway with Mini but might not be covered unless it is defect rather than wear. I have 0 experience of changing exhausts on cars I have only ever had Mini's and only ever had factory fittings but I am starting to think could I get better performance etc for a similar price elsewhere?

Does anyone have any experience and advice on this as to whether I stick with the JCW exhaust of put an aftermarket piece on instead. I would require middle and rear sections I believe but as sated before, don't really understand all that well.
