Well, was it? In UK RHD spec?
My last 5 motors have all had factory fit sat nav, and I would be happy as a very happy thing indeed if it was possible to get one.
Thanks
Paul

I don't think that option was available on the GP ;)

No, no, no, no! Given all the weight saving elements they did for the GP, i think it would be counter productive to fit the factory Sat Nav unit.
Let me put it this way....when i used to drive my GP i made sure i'd been for a dump before getting in it. Every little helps!!! ;)

you couldnt even have xenons because it added 'weight'......so...sat nav would be totally out of the question lol

When you selecti the JCW GP and go refine search, you get a vastly reduced array of options you can filter down to - but the two that are left are CD Player and satnav.

There's one GP owner (http://www.mini2.com/forum/members/38362.html) who has ticked the Navigation System box in his MINI Profile.

It may well be the Garmin sat nav that you could have added to all Minis. It may not have been the full sat nav system that replaces the central speedo. I guess if it shows the price you'll soon clarify this one.
You can always have the Garmin unit fitted to a 2nd hand GP. I had it on one of my previous MCS JCWs and it is very neat and tidy. Sits just to the right of the rev counter and all the wiring is hidden.
