Hi everyone newbie here.
Just purchased a lovely little 05 plate mini one diesel for the misses and need a few answers if poss.
Hunted everywhere and was toying on having a cooper s but this popped up and our sensible side decided for us, It has an amazing spec for a ONE, it has a pepper pack, visabilty pack, xenons, cooper s wheels, panoramic roof, bass boost, auto wipers/lights, auto dimming rear view mirror, seems the original owner wanted a cooper diesel but at the time i guess they were not available so she had a ONE specced up to what seems more than a standard cooper has and on the plus side its a diesel.Just a shame it has no leather but hey cant have everything i suppose, Gonna get cooper s bumpers and bonnet and may fit the leather too.
Couple of things i need help with.
What model is this car, R50?R52?R53?
Will the aero cooper kit fit straight on and will my old lights fit the front bumper? And finally, its a bit slow! any good tuning options??

Ah excellent, that clears up the confusion, it will be the R50 then, as for the tuning it seams that bluefin stuff only does the petrol not diesel,
My diesel just doesnt seem to have any low down power under 2000 rpm, is this normal?????
Also what is the power output for one of these 1.4 diesels, i take it its a toyota yaris engine with 75bhp??

Sorry I missed the fact you have a Diesel :o

Superchips does a remap for the MINI One Diesel which has the same 1.4-litre 75bhp engine fitted to the Toyota Yaris D-4D ...

Thanks for that, ill look into getting that done, need to make sure that the "no power" below 2000 rpm is normal or maybe i have an underlying fault with it, having not driven another diesel mini im not sure if its how they are,:puzzled: unless someone can shed some light on this subject for me!!!
