Hi again ppl (thanks for all the help so far - i love this forum!)

I'm checking the FAQs again and i'm noticing that a gen2 JCW KIT has only 192bhp, whilst a gen1 goes up to either 200 or 210bhp.

Does this mean that ALL officially certified JCW KITS are limited to 192hp?
Reason is, coz i'm browsing two major websites for used UK cars, and most of gen2 cooper S models + kit state they have 210bhp... is it even possible? (without further mods) - and they are not factory works, as they're dated 2007 (plus plate check turns back registered as Cooper S not work)

Would it cost much to mod it up to 210?
thanks once again

R56 JCW is lower hp, but higher torque, than R53.
210hp claims for R56 is wrong

If you intend to mod the engine why pay a premium for the JCW badge (http://www.moviecitynews.com/arrays/media/2004/blazing_saddles_badges.html). Buy a standard Cooper S and take it to one of our Sponsors, Evolve Automotive (http://www.mini2.com/forum/evolve-automotive/) or Performance Torque (http://www.mini2.com/forum/performance-torque/) for an ECU remap.
