: Chili Pack ... USB?

Hey all.

Am in the market for a Cooper S in the next few months.

An essential option for me is USB.

Does the Chili pack on the Cooper S come with USB?

The mini.co.uk website is ambiguous ... parts of the website say Chili pack comes with USB, other parts don't.

Cheers

Tim

I have a 2009 MCS and yes it has a USB input next to the Aux jack....I plug in a flash drive and the stereo reads mp3 files (I use this instead of an iPod)

I have a 2007 MCS Chilli....but it doesn't seem to have a USB port...only the Aux....if it had USB where would I find it? Next to the Aux port? It's really annoying as I can only control my music from my iPOD which is annoying while driving! :(

Yeah, it would be next to the AUX port. :)

Grrr soo annoyed! I'm pretty sure I don't have it :( Sucks having to just put my ipod on shuffle and listening to stuff I don't really wanna listen to! :(
Plus it would be good to see all the info be displayed on the dash instead of it just displaying AUX.....Bit of a downgrade in that department as in my old MINI had full aftermarket Pioneer iPod connection adapter where it would display everything! :( Anyone know of anyways that I could get around this?

Is the USB an option? I got a 2009 MCS with chili pack but no USB, just the aux port. I dont even use that, i just make a mp3 CD, you can get like 150 songs on one CD, no need to fiddle with silly ipods that way :P
