Hello all, I know this is a long shot but I thing worth a question...

I have a 2003 Mini Cooper Automatic (CVT) but no paddle shift. I was wondering if it would be possible to add the paddle shift from a wrecked mini that has that salvaged? What would I need to be looking for on this wrecked mini, what parts do I need to dissemble?
