Can anyone tell me if a rear bumper from R57 convertible will fit onto R56 hatchback.

Im asking as there is one going cheap and its the right colour for my R56.

I'm surprised to see that the RealOEM parts diagram (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=MR32&mospid=51390&btnr=51_6226&hg=51&fg=17) gives the same part number for both cars as I thought they were different - if only that the convertible has two towing eye holes so that it can take the expensive Mini bike rack.

They do appear to have the same part number according to realOEM.

Im going to bite the bullet and go ahead with buying the R57 bumper unless anybody knows a reason why I shouldnt.???
