Hi Guys,

Need you advise in regards to the problem i am facing now. My Rear JCW spoiler is now stuck to the tailgate as one of the 5 screw/bolt had come loose. When i tried to unbolt the rear spoiler the nut and bolt turn at the same time.

Anyone had experienced this before and please advise me how to take it off ?

Had the same problem except I had 2 bolts doing that. I took it round a few places and the couldn't do anything about it, so I undid all the bolts I could then literally ripped it off from there. Then I just super glued it together and stuck it on my other mini. Has held up fine so far (Been about 7 months). If i were you I would take it your dealer. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TELL THEM YOU TRIED TO TAKE IT OFF. Just tell them you want it taken off otherwise they will tell you that they wont replace it under warranty because you tampered with it. Thats what they told me when they saw scratch marks where I used the screw driver to remove the rubber caps.

Thanks, for the advise. I managed to get it off with very helpful mechanic, not from BMW. After that use the epoxy to stick bolt back.
