Hi,
I bought a mini cooper 2007 from mini dealer in october(2010). It seems to have sticky gear problem when the car is cold. Get in and out of 1st is a bit rough. No grinding. All the other gears are nice and smooth. Once the car is warm, gears seems to be smoother. I am not sure whether to take it to the dealer or not. I dont want to damage the transmission and make it worse by ignoring it. It will be harder to demonstrate to the dealer as it is only evident when the car is cold and the journey to the dealer will warm it up by the time I get there. What do you guys think? Should I get it fixed? Is it easy/cheap to fix? Thanks in advance.
