Hi
My 52 MCS has developed a constant loud whirring noise which is there from when I first start up and remains there increasing with engine revs. Only disappearing when I come to a stop and once the engine's hot but starts again as soon as I drive off. Have had the bonnet up and it appears to be coming from the left hand side front of the engine around the area of the supercharger but not entirely sure as that's where all the belts and pulleys are??? Mine's done 80K+ miles now, most of that motorway driving by me but am wondering if something's about to die on me. Well used to the usual whines and what not but this is a new one on me and haven't found similar by searching the forum. Anyone else experienced something similar?
