hi, i have just bought my first mini. It is a Mini ONE 53' reg. and shes an absolute beauty! only problem is it doesnt have a Rev counter. I have seen that you can buy em on ebay. im basically wondering if any one knows whether they can be fitted to my specific model or if it previously had one and the previous owner has taken it off. Also would any one happen to have the fitting instructions to fit one thanx. (if anyone has one for sale in virtually brand new condition drop me a message).

Apparently they weren't standard on the R50 MINI One - they were an option but included in the SALT pack which most One owners went for.

The new cable plugs into the bag of the speedo assembly (tachometer instrument panel) which is fairly easy to remove from the dashboard.

For the additional wiring harness, print out the official pdf of retrofit instructions above and take to your nearest MINI Dealer spare parts department to see if you can order it seperately and buy a used rev counter from ebay or:
