Hi All,
We're doing the annual Mini and MINI pilgrimage to the Nurburgring again this year in Aug. It's 4-8th leaving from Dover early Thursday (to Calais) and returning on the Monday.
We generally have around 50 uk mini's and MINIs meeting en-mass at the ferry point and then splitting into in small driving speed related groups!
The cost is a measly £125 which includes the ferry Dover-Calais and
1hr Closed session Mini only ring time!!!
Generally the ring is open for Touristfahren from 17.00 on the Thursday and Friday and then open all day on the Saturday and Sunday.
The all important ring time is on the Sunday morning (This will be circa 08.00-08.30 start) - which is closed session, mini only, open pit and open straight :)
This means that no-one else but us will be on the track - and there is the opportunity to change drivers :)
Accomodation wise, most people will be camping (am nurburing) but some of us will be in local hotels
Please feel free to tell your friend and colleagues to come with us - we're a friendly bunch and we do not put up with any mini/MINI rivalry.
For those of you that have Mini's and are already at the ring that weekend - there may be a few spaces available to just come on the ring with us. The cost for this will be circa 50euros and but is dependant on final numbers and it will be agreed with the organisers.
