Hi guys, since im a newbie in this field, id like some of you experts to help me soet some things out. First of all, this isa MCS R53, with 163 hp. What i want, is that it goes much better. So im aiming at around 220 hp. Is it possible without some major investments, what do i need to buy and do, and finally, if you could write down prices for those parts. The car is completly stock.. currently! I have been reading about the pulley reductions, SC intercooler and injectors change, exhausts etc. But if someone could write down what i exactly need to get in order to bring it to around 220 or 230 hp, i would be very thankfull. Thanks in advance! Cheers

Well, 230 is not easy..

You'll need:
- Cold air intake
- Reduced pulley (and belt)
- ECU update (tuning)
- Other spark plugs (colder NGK)
- Upgraded complete exhaust (header and cat-back)
- Big brakes (enhanced braking)
- Improved camshaft
- Better Intercooler
- Front and rear sway bars
- Larger injectors (380cc+)
- Screaming demon coil pack (and upgraded coil wires)

You might also want:
- Better bushings (Gear box, Engine, Suspension)
- Camber plates
- New coil over shocks
- Improved tubing for better airflow
- Limited slip differential

You can find prices at the following sites:

And there are many, many others :)

hi, thanks for the prompt answer, i was working so i didnt have time to check messages. Anyway, i forgot completely about the coilovers i already bought two weeks ago and i already mounted them. D2 coilovers. But i have a problem with them, im running on 205/45 R17, and somehow the spring on the coilover is probably to wide, or its wider than the stock one, so i cant fit them, and i had to borrow my brothers rims, and the tires are 215/40 R17, and they fit.. The offset is 38 i believe.. but never mind that, i managed to go to a local guy to make the spacer rings for the rims (not actual spacers, the rings that come between the inside of the rim and the thing on which you mount it on. anyway, thanks again for this usefull post. :D
