Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me to identify the colour of this checkmate mini.
It looks slightly purple from some angles but I wasn't aware that they made a purple variation so I'm confused by it.
Is it space blue in bad lighting or something else? The ad only says 'blue/black'.

Was the Checkmate available in other colours? I know the One 7 was available in colours other than Solar Red - ie. Pepper White - but I've never seen a Checkmate in anything but Solar Blue.

If that was the case, then I stand corrected - the car in the pictures does look more like Astro than Solar. :o

An Advanced Members Search reveals a member from Australia (http://www.mini2.com/forum/members/58077.html) with an Astro Black Checkmate. Since the originator of this thread is also from Down Under, it appears this color combo was available there.
